1. Nature of Donations

All contributions made to Essential Trees Tag Foundation are charitable donations. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• Your contribution is a voluntary gift to support our reforestation and conservation mission
• Donations are used to fund programs, operations, and mission-related activities as described on this website
• No goods or services of significant value are provided in exchange for your donation
• We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from any individual contribution

2. General Non-Refund Policy

As a general rule, all donations are non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, it may be immediately committed to active programs, seedling procurement, or partner payments. This policy allows us to act quickly on urgent planting and restoration needs.

3. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Considered

We will consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:

• Duplicate donation: You accidentally submitted the same donation more than once
• Unauthorized charge: You did not authorize the donation and suspect fraudulent use of your payment method
• Technical error: A technical error on our website resulted in an incorrect amount being charged
• Donor error: You donated an amount significantly different from what you intended (submitted within 30 days)

4. How to Request a Refund

Please include your full name, donation amount, donation date, and the email address used at the time of donation. We will respond within 5–7 business days.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of donation. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer — typically 5–10 business days after approval.

6. Recurring Donations

If you set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel future charges, you may do so at any time by contacting us at contact@essentialtreesfoudation.org. Cancellation requests are processed within 2 business days. Charges already processed before the cancellation request are subject to the general non-refund policy.

7. Donation Designation

Donations designated for a specific program or campaign will be used for that purpose to the extent reasonably possible. In the event that a specific campaign is completed or oversubscribed, designated funds will be redirected to the most closely related active program.

8. Tax Receipts

A donation acknowledgment and/or receipt will be provided for all donations upon request. Essential Trees Tag Foundation (EIN: 41-4990547) is a domestic nonprofit organization. The deductibility of your donation depends on your individual tax situation — please consult a tax professional.
